Souplantation Senior Discount
Quick answer: The old Souplantation senior deal ($7.99 all-you-can-eat or 10% off at 60) is gone. The chain closed every restaurant in 2020. New owners have brought it back under the Sweet Tomatoes name, with two restaurants open in 2026, but they don’t list a senior price.
What happened to Souplantation?
Souplantation (the name used in California) and Sweet Tomatoes (the name everywhere else) were one salad buffet chain with close to 100 restaurants. All of them closed for good in 2020. A new company bought the brand, reopened Sweet Tomatoes in Tucson, Arizona in April 2024, and opened a second one in Fort Myers, Florida in June 2026. There’s no Souplantation in California right now, and the owners say they don’t plan to franchise.
Is there a senior discount at the new Sweet Tomatoes?
Not one we could find. The Sweet Tomatoes website doesn’t show a senior price or discount. It does have a free loyalty program you join with your phone number or email on your next visit. If you go, ask at the register whether they have a senior price.
