Hampton Inn AARP and Senior Discount
Quick answer: Hampton Inn no longer offers an AARP discount. Hilton dropped its AARP rate, and Hilton brands aren’t on AARP’s hotel list anymore. If you’re 65 or older, you can book Hilton’s Senior Rate at participating Hampton hotels for up to 6% off the best available rate.
How to book the senior rate
- Search your dates on hilton.com or in the Hilton Honors app.
- Open “Special Rates” and pick “Senior Rate”.
- Bring ID. Proof of age is required at check-in.
You can book up to two rooms, but the second room is for family traveling with you. It’s for leisure stays only and can’t be combined with other deals. Not every hotel takes part, and some dates are blacked out.
Is the senior rate the best deal?
Often not. Up to 6% is small. Before you book, compare it with the free Hilton Honors member rate, advance-purchase rates, and AAA if you’re a member. Pick the lowest.
Want an AARP hotel discount?
AARP still works at other chains, such as Best Western and La Quinta.
