- Carhartt, game consoles, gift cards, fuel, alcohol, tobacco and lottery
How to get the Fred Meyer senior discount
You need to be enrolled. Once you are, the 10% comes off automatically at checkout and on online orders placed that Tuesday. To sign up, take a photo ID to the customer service desk and ask them to add the senior discount to your Fred Meyer Rewards account. No rainchecks, and it doesn’t apply to earlier purchases.

Since the discount leans toward general merchandise, it’s the day to buy the new shoes, bedding or garden supplies you’ve been putting off. Stock up on store-brand pantry staples too. Shop regular fresh groceries whenever you like, since they don’t get the discount anyway.
