Enterprise Rent-A-Car Senior Discount
Quick answer: No. Enterprise doesn’t offer a senior discount or an AARP discount, so the old 5% off for AARP members no longer applies. If a senior rate matters to you, Avis and Budget are the rental companies that work with AARP.
Does Enterprise give a senior discount?
No. Enterprise doesn’t have a special rate based on age, and it doesn’t take AAA either. Anyone 25 and up pays the same base rate, so the savings have to come from how and where you book.
Is there an Enterprise AARP discount?
Not anymore. Enterprise isn’t on AARP’s list of rental car partners. You can still find Enterprise cars through the AARP Travel Center (run by Expedia), but AARP says its member discounts may not apply to those bookings. It’s worth a price check, nothing more.
Ways to pay less at Enterprise
- Join Enterprise Plus. It’s free, and you earn points toward free rental days.
- Sign up for emails. Enterprise sends members-only rates and promo offers.
- Skip the airport if you can. Neighborhood branches don’t charge airport fees, and many will pick you up.
- Use a military benefit. Active and retired military get 5% off, and USAA members get extra perks.
Car rental companies with an AARP discount
These are the companies AARP works with directly:
- Avis and Budget: up to 35% off base rates if you pay ahead, or up to 30% if you pay later.
- Payless: up to 5% off base rates.
