Del Taco Senior Discount
Quick answer: Del Taco doesn’t publish a national senior discount, but many stores still give seniors 10% off or a free or cheaper drink. It isn’t automatic. You have to ask when you order, and most stores won’t stack it with coupons.
Does Del Taco have a senior discount?
At a lot of locations, yes. Customers keep reporting signs at the counter offering seniors 10% off, a free drink, or both. You won’t find it on the Del Taco website or in the app, though, and it’s up to each store. Del Taco has around 550 restaurants, most of them franchised, so rules really do change from one to the next.
One more change worth knowing: Jack in the Box sold Del Taco to Yadav Enterprises, a big restaurant franchisee, and the sale closed at the end of 2025. Nothing official has changed for seniors since then, but new owners can mean new policies, so ask each time.
Del Taco senior discount age
There’s no single age. Each store picks its own cutoff, so ask what age they use. Carry an ID in case the cashier wants to see it.
How to ask for it
- Order at the counter or drive-thru. The discount usually can’t be added to app or online orders.
- Say “Do you have a senior discount?” before you pay, not after.
- Leave the coupon out. Many stores apply the senior discount or a coupon, not both. If your coupon saves more, use that instead.
Is there a Del Taco senior discount code?
No. There’s no promo code for seniors. The best codes and deals live in the Del Yeah Rewards app, which is free:
- A sign-up bonus for new members.
- Points on every dollar you spend, which turn into free tacos, burritos and more.
- Weekly app-only deals called Wednesday Hookups.
- Free coffee before 11 a.m. with a purchase.
- A birthday shake with any purchase.
Del Taco menu deals worth knowing
The full Del Taco menu covers tacos, burritos and Epic Burritos, quesadillas, nachos, crispy chicken, burgers and fries, shakes, and breakfast. For the lowest prices, look at the Get A Lot value menu and Taco Nights. At participating stores, Tuesday is 3 regular tacos for about $2.49 and Thursday is 3 grilled chicken tacos for about $3.59. Prices and participation vary, so check your store in the app.
Other taco spots with senior deals: Taco Bueno and El Pollo Loco.
