Bonanza Steakhouse Senior Discount
Quick answer: Bonanza no longer has a chain-wide senior discount, and the $1 off Wednesday deal isn’t advertised anywhere. Only three Bonanza Steakhouses are still open. Any senior pricing is up to the individual restaurant, so call or ask when you arrive.
Is there still a Bonanza Steakhouse?
Just barely. Bonanza and its sister chain Ponderosa once had hundreds of restaurants. As of late 2025, the three Bonanzas left are in Lebanon, Virginia, and in Chambersburg and New Columbia, Pennsylvania. A dozen or so Ponderosas are still open too.
What happened to the Wednesday senior deal?
The $1 off on Wednesdays for guests 65 and up, plus a special senior menu, dates back years. The Ponderosa and Bonanza website doesn’t mention any senior offer now, only an e-club for member deals. Some lists still say the discount “varies by location,” which is the honest answer. With so few restaurants, each one runs its own specials.
Our tip: join the e-club at pon-bon.com for coupons, and ask your server about a senior price on the buffet.
