Schlotzsky’s Senior Discount
Quick answer: Schlotzsky’s doesn’t have an age-based senior discount across the chain anymore. The official deal now is 10% off every day for AARP members, once you link your AARP number to a Schlotzsky’s Rewards account. It works in store, in the app and online at participating locations.
How the Schlotzsky’s AARP discount works
This isn’t a card you flash at the register. The discount lives inside your Schlotzsky’s Rewards account.
- Download the Schlotzsky’s app or sign up for Schlotzsky’s Rewards online. It’s free.
- Enter your AARP membership number to link the two accounts.
- From then on, the 10% discount shows up in your Rewards account. Scan your app in store or use it when you order online.
You can use it once a day. AARP membership starts at 50, so that’s the practical “senior age” here.
What the discount doesn’t cover
- Catering orders
- Delivery through apps like DoorDash or Uber Eats
- Alcohol, tax and tip
- Other coupons or offers (you can’t stack them)
Also note that app and online orders can carry a service fee. Ordering at the counter avoids it.
Is there still a Schlotzsky’s senior discount without AARP?
Not chain-wide. The old “10% off at 60” was never a company rule. A few franchise stores still run their own senior specials, like a senior sandwich deal on certain weekday evenings. If you’re not an AARP member, ask at your local store.
Better deals than 10% on some days
Check the offers page in the app before you go. Schlotzsky’s often runs pizza and flatbread specials, bundles for families and member-only rewards that can beat the AARP discount. Since you can’t combine them, pick the bigger saving.
